Project Manager - Civil & Fit-Out

About the role

M Qube Interiors Carpentry LLC, a Dubai-based interior fit-out and carpentry and joinery company serving residential, commercial, retail and corporate clients, is looking for a Project Manager. The role coordinates civil and fit-out project delivery from planning through handover.

Key responsibilities

• Plan project scope, schedules, resources, budgets and delivery milestones with clients and internal teams.
• Supervise site execution of civil and interior fit-out works, including joinery, ceilings, partitions, flooring and finishes.
• Coordinate foremen, draftsmen, quantity surveyors, subcontractors, suppliers and workshop teams to resolve project requirements.
• Review drawings, specifications, material submittals, quantities and work progress, and address discrepancies promptly.
• Monitor quality, safety, costs and schedule performance, keeping clear records of progress and changes.
• Communicate with clients, consultants and site stakeholders, provide progress updates and manage approvals and handover.
• Identify project risks and delays, agree corrective actions and ensure completed work meets approved specifications and deadlines.

Required profile

• Demonstrated project management experience in civil works, interior fit-out or construction project execution.
• Practical knowledge of fit-out trades such as carpentry and joinery, gypsum ceilings, partitions, flooring, painting and finishing.
• Experience coordinating site teams, foremen, subcontractors, suppliers, consultants and clients.
• Good understanding of construction quality control, site safety, progress reporting and project documentation.

Required skills

• Ability to interpret architectural, civil and shop drawings, specifications, schedules and quantity information.
• Planning, scheduling, budgeting, cost monitoring and resource coordination.
• Proficiency with standard project planning and reporting tools; familiarity with construction project software is an advantage.
• Effective problem-solving, negotiation, communication and decision-making, with the ability to manage concurrent priorities.
