Project Manager - Future Campus Development

About the role

AL TARIQ is hiring a Project Manager for future campus development in Abu Dhabi. The role coordinates project development and cross-functional interfaces, while ownership of departmental deliverables, facility execution, construction management and operational services stays with the accountable departments. It covers the full project lifecycle from concept and feasibility through management approval, procurement readiness and transition to execution.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage project plans covering objectives, scope, milestones, deliverables, dependencies, risks, budgets and approvals.
• Lead projects from concept and feasibility through management approval, procurement readiness and structured transition to execution.
• Translate requirements into project briefs, business cases, scopes of work, implementation strategies and measurable deliverables.
• Act as the main interface between Operations, Engineering, Finance, Procurement, Legal, Facilities, IT, Security, HSE, consultants and advisers, and run stakeholder workshops and management reviews.
• Coordinate feasibility assessments, preliminary budgets, schedules, risk assessments and execution strategies.
• Present progress, risks, issues and required decisions to senior leadership and approval committees.
• Support contract development and procurement, including scope preparation, clarifications, evaluations and award recommendations.
• Monitor operations consultants, specialist advisers and third-party providers, and maintain project records until handover to the delivery team.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, Business Administration or a related discipline.
• Minimum eight years of experience in project development, project or programme management, engineering, consulting or a related field.
• Proven experience developing multidisciplinary projects from concept through management approval and execution readiness.
• Experience coordinating corporate departments, consultants, advisers, suppliers and external stakeholders.
• PMP or an equivalent recognised project management certification is preferred.
