Project Manager

About the role

Schindler is seeking a Project Manager to lead mobility projects in Dubai. The role oversees the full project lifecycle for elevator and escalator installations, ensuring they are delivered safely, on time and within budget.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive project management plans, including scheduling, resource allocation, risk management and quality assurance.
• Manage projects from contract award through handover, monitoring progress, controlling costs and ensuring compliance with Schindler standards and statutory requirements.
• Coordinate communication with customers, consultants, contractors, suppliers and internal stakeholders to facilitate smooth execution.
• Monitor project performance, proactively address risks and issues, and provide regular status reports to senior management.
• Promote a culture of safety, quality and customer satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
• Lead, develop and motivate multidisciplinary project teams, assigning clear responsibilities and fostering accountability.

Required profile

• Formal engineering qualification.
• 3‑5 years of project management experience in the Gulf region, preferably the UAE, within the mobility or construction sector.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and leadership abilities.
• Excellent cross‑cultural awareness.
• Fluent in English and Arabic, both spoken and written.
