Project Manager

About the role

DP World is looking for a Project Manager to oversee the full lifecycle of projects within its logistics and transportation division in the United Arab Emirates. The role involves coordinating resources, managing budgets, and ensuring compliance with local regulations and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in commercial activities from lead generation to bid estimation and budget elaboration.
• Identify, research and target new business opportunities.
• Coach, mentor, provide feedback, communicate expectations, oversee and evaluate project team members.
• Contribute to department risk management.
• Ensure correct assignment of human and material resources to projects and contracts.
• Manage project lifecycle including scope, goals, execution and deliverables.
• Plan and manage execution, subcontractors and logistics.
• Obtain permits and approvals (Trakhees, DM, landlords).
• Coordinate testing, commissioning and snag closure.
• Produce handover packs (as‑builts, O&Ms, warranties).
• Manage procurement and technical submittal approvals.
• Ensure budgets, cash flow and margins are adhered to and achieve accurate invoicing and collection on time.
• Chair client progress meetings and manage change.
• Establish and maintain effective relationships with customers, suppliers and subcontractors to ensure high satisfaction.
• Participate in development of quality proposals to increase win chances.
• Ensure all safety standards are followed and minimize accident risk.
• Comply with UAE laws and governing bodies.
• Conduct site inspections and ensure quality complies with international standards.
• Implement QC/ITPs, maintain site diaries and capture lessons learned.
