Project Manager - Joinery

About the role

M Qube Interiors Carpentry LLC is a Dubai-based interior fit-out and carpentry/joinery company serving residential, commercial, retail and corporate projects. It is looking for a Project Manager Joinery to coordinate project delivery from planning through installation, making sure joinery works meet approved designs, quality requirements, timelines and budget expectations. The role is based in Dubai and involves regular coordination between project sites, clients and the company's workshop and office teams.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and manage joinery and interior fit-out projects, including scope, schedules, resources, procurement and cost tracking.
• Coordinate draftsmen, quantity surveyors, foremen, workshop teams, subcontractors, suppliers and client representatives.
• Review drawings, specifications, cutting lists, material selections and site conditions, and resolve technical and sequencing issues.
• Monitor furniture manufacturing, custom carpentry, installation and related fit-out activities for quality and compliance with approved plans.
• Conduct site inspections and progress reviews, identify risks or delays and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain project documentation, progress updates, change records, handover information and closeout activities.
• Promote safe work practices and keep communication clear across stakeholders.

Required profile

• Demonstrated project management experience in joinery, carpentry, interior fit-out or furniture manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of joinery production and installation processes, materials, finishes, drawings and cutting lists.
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams, subcontractors, suppliers, clients and site personnel.
• Sound quality assurance, site inspection, risk management and problem-solving capabilities.
• Clear written and verbal communication, organized documentation and effective stakeholder management.

Required skills

• Ability to interpret architectural, shop and joinery drawings and coordinate technical clarifications.
• Project scheduling, resource planning, procurement coordination, cost control and progress reporting.
• Proficiency with project planning tools and common office software; familiarity with CAD drawings is beneficial.
