Project Manager - Marine

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager – Marine to lead and deliver complex marine and coastal infrastructure projects in Dubai. The role involves overseeing the full project lifecycle from planning through construction to handover, ensuring safety, quality and client satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end execution of marine construction projects, including planning, resource allocation and delivery.
• Manage construction activities for jetties, quay walls, breakwaters, revetments, dredging and shoreline protection.
• Develop and monitor project schedules, budgets and progress against milestones.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, port authorities and regulatory bodies.
• Oversee subcontractors, marine crews and site teams to ensure productivity and performance.
• Ensure compliance with HSE standards, marine safety protocols and offshore risk management.
• Review and approve method statements, risk assessments and technical submittals.
• Manage procurement of marine equipment such as barges, tugs, cranes and dredgers.
• Identify project risks (weather, tides, logistics) and implement mitigation strategies.
• Lead project meetings, progress reviews and reporting to senior management and stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Marine Engineering or related field.
• 15+ years of experience delivering marine and coastal infrastructure projects.
• Proven track record with marine structures such as quay walls, jetties and breakwaters.
• Strong knowledge of marine construction methodologies, sequencing and logistics.
• Experience working with UAE authorities (ports, municipalities) is highly preferred.
• Sound understanding of FIDIC contracts and project commercial management.
• Excellent leadership, stakeholder management and decision‑making abilities.
