Project Manager - Telematics

About the role

Consat Telematics, a Swedish technology company building intelligent IT solutions for public transportation and smart mobility, is hiring a Project Manager based in Dubai. You will lead and coordinate customer telematics projects, turning customer needs into clear development and implementation tasks and ensuring successful delivery. You act as the link between customers and the Product and R&D teams, working with developers, technical teams, Product Owners and customer stakeholders on hardware and software solutions. Regular travel may be required for customer meetings.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate customer telematics projects from initial planning to delivery.
• Translate customer requirements into structured development and implementation tasks.
• Coordinate technical planning and support the implementation of hardware and software solutions.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, developers, technical teams and customer stakeholders.
• Document requirements, configurations and project progress accurately and comprehensively.
• Monitor and regularly update project progress, and hold regular project meetings with customers.
• Contribute to development planning and workload forecasting.
• Identify improvements and help continuously improve telematics solutions and processes.

Required profile

• Demonstrable experience with processes within the RTA Public Transport Department (mandatory).
• Technical Project Manager experience in telematics or public transportation.
• Cross-functional product development and agile environment experience.
• Degree in Project Management, Engineering or a related technical field.
• At least one relevant certification, such as PRINCE2 or PMP.
• Fluent English; Arabic is an advantage. A background in software development or engineering is a plus.
