Project Manager – Transformation Office

About the role

The Transformation Office is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead medium to large, strategically important projects across the organization. You will own the full project lifecycle, from initiation through hand‑off, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and in line with SSMC enterprise standards.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, direct, coordinate and deliver project activities throughout the project life cycle.
• Manage project budgets, create and track financial plans, and ensure strict adherence to budget guidelines.
• Facilitate problem‑solving, decision‑making and change management with minimal supervision.
• Prepare regular project status reports and maintain complete, up‑to‑date documentation.
• Provide guidance on project management practices, standards and methodologies to staff.
• Supervise matrixed teams, evaluate staff from various departments, and manage direct or indirect reports.

Required profile

• 7‑8 years of progressive project management experience, including 3‑5 years of supervisory responsibility.
• Familiarity with the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) and formal project management training.
• Working towards or holding a PMP or PRINCE2 certification.
• Bachelor’s degree in Quality, Healthcare Management/Administration, Finance, Marketing or a related field.
• Experience in a large healthcare facility is desirable.
