Project Manager – Upstream Oil & Gas (PMC)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead and manage PMC activities for a major upstream oil & gas project in Abu Dhabi. The role requires deep expertise in early production facilities and complex gas treatment projects, with a strong focus on delivering safely, on schedule, and within budget.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the full project lifecycle – FEED, detailed engineering, procurement, construction, pre‑commissioning, commissioning, start‑up and handover.
• Manage multidisciplinary upstream projects, coordinating EPC contractors, engineering consultants, construction teams and vendors.
• Control project schedule, cost, risk, change, contracts, quality, HSE and overall delivery.
• Interface with upstream production facilities, gas gathering, pipelines, gas treatment/processing units and utilities.
• Ensure compliance with ADNOC standards, specifications and execution requirements.
• Maintain strong stakeholder and contractor performance management.

Required profile

• 20+ years of experience in the oil & gas industry with extensive project management exposure.
• Proven track record in major upstream projects within a PMC/EPC environment, preferably ADNOC‑related.
• Significant experience in Early Production Facilities (EPF) and/or sour gas, critical gas, and gas treatment facilities.
• Demonstrated ability to manage EPC contractors, engineering consultants and multiple project interfaces.
• Experience in both brownfield and greenfield upstream projects is an advantage.
