Project Planner – Construction Scheduling

About the role

The Project Planner will develop and maintain turnkey project work programs, ensuring that construction activities are scheduled, monitored, and completed within the agreed time frames. Reporting to the Project Manager and Estimation Manager, the role supports the Construction Manager and project execution teams throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare detailed work programs covering material procurement, mobilization, installation, and manpower requirements.
• Develop master project schedules for tender and construction phases and obtain approval from stakeholders.
• Monitor project progress in coordination with the Construction Manager and planning engineers, producing progress reports and identifying schedule variances.
• Attend monthly project review meetings, submit reports, and investigate delays to recommend corrective actions.
• Coordinate with Design and Procurement departments to ensure timely material submissions and manage long‑lead items.
• Provide monthly progress updates to Quantity Surveyors for invoicing and conduct critical path analysis for extensions of time.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 4 years of planning experience in fit‑out or joinery projects.
• Proficiency in Primavera or MS Project for scheduling.
• Good knowledge of construction processes and attention to detail.
