Project Quantity Surveyor

About the role

The Project Quantity Surveyor will support the Senior Quantity Surveyor in preparing accurate bills of quantities and cost estimates for tender submissions. You will monitor project variations and ensure profitability through precise costing and timely valuation reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in examining tender documents to determine material quantities and prepare bills of quantities for the Estimates department.
• Identify subcontractor elements, issue enquiries, evaluate quotations and prepare comparison reports.
• Prepare monthly valuation reports to track work progress and address schedule deviations.
• Develop detailed specifications and obtain cost estimates for variations, securing client approval.
• Re‑measure subcontractor work, verify quantities, and support preparation of final accounts.
• Compile final accounts upon project completion and obtain payment certificates from clients.

Required profile

• Higher Diploma in Quantity Surveying or related field.
• 3–4 years of experience in quantity surveying, including at least 1 year in interior fit‑out or construction.
• Proven ability to prepare bills of quantities, valuation reports, and final accounts.
