Project Surveyor – Measurement (Cost Management)

About the role

AECOM is seeking a Project Surveyor (Measurement) to join its Cost Management team in Dubai South. The role focuses on quantity take‑offs, cost planning and preparing Bills of Quantities across pre‑contract and post‑contract phases, supporting major infrastructure projects in the UAE and the wider region.

Key responsibilities

• Undertake accurate measurement and quantity take‑offs from drawings, specifications, BIM models and other project data.
• Prepare Bills of Quantities, schedules of quantities and other measurement documentation for architectural, structural, civil and MEP elements.
• Support feasibility studies, order‑of‑cost estimates and detailed cost estimates throughout the design development process.
• Analyse tender returns, maintain rates databases and assist in post‑contract valuations, variations and change assessments.
• Utilise quantity surveying, cost management and BIM software to improve digital measurement workflows.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline (or equivalent higher diploma).
• Minimum of 2 years’ relevant industry experience in quantity surveying, measurement or estimating.

Required skills

• Proficiency with quantity surveying and cost management software.
• Experience using BIM tools and digital measurement technologies.
