Project Technical Lead – Senior Java & Microservices

About the role

We are seeking a seasoned Java professional to lead and mentor a high‑performing development and operations team delivering government and digital services for the Telecommunications and Digital Government Regulatory Authority (TDRA) in Dubai.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and manage Java application development and operations teams.
• Design, develop and maintain enterprise applications using Java, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA and Angular.
• Build and integrate RESTful and SOAP web services and micro‑services‑based APIs.
• Work with Oracle SQL/PL‑SQL, performance tuning and database optimization.
• Manage deployments on Apache Tomcat and support applications on Red Hat Linux/Unix.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git, SVN) and Maven builds.
• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders on integration, troubleshooting and production support.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 years of hands‑on Java development experience (Java 8+).
• Proven leadership, mentoring and team‑management capabilities.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills in a fast‑paced environment.
