Projects & Construction Associate

About the role

The Projects & Construction Associate will support White Star Contracting’s high‑profile infrastructure, power and energy projects across the UAE, the wider Middle East and EMEA. Working closely with senior partners, the role covers the full project lifecycle, from front‑end planning through to construction documentation and delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Provide legal advice on large‑scale oil & gas, renewable and power infrastructure projects.
• Draft, review and negotiate contracts, agreements and construction documentation.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external counsel to ensure compliance with regional regulations.
• Support risk assessment and mitigation strategies throughout project execution.
• Assist in the preparation of project bids and tender submissions.

Required profile

• Qualified lawyer with proven experience in projects and construction law.
• Experience working in the UAE or willingness to relocate from the UK, Australia or New Zealand.
• Demonstrated track record in handling high‑value infrastructure or energy projects.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
