Projects Planner

About the role

AERTEC is looking for a Projects Planner to support the planning, monitoring and control of aviation and airport infrastructure projects across the Middle East. You will work closely with Project Managers and multidisciplinary teams to keep schedules on track, produce accurate reports and ensure contractual compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor progress of ongoing projects against approved schedules, deliverables and contracts.
• Prepare weekly, bi‑weekly and monthly progress reports in coordination with the Project Manager.
• Identify potential delays, risks and corrective actions, and communicate them to the Project Manager.
• Develop look‑ahead schedules and milestone trackers for internal and client reporting.
• Create tentative schedules for tender and proposal projects aligned with RFP milestones.
• Maintain baseline and recovery schedules using Primavera P6 and/or MS Project.
• Assist in preparing contractual correspondence, variation orders, claims inputs and time‑impact analyses.
• Support the preparation, submission and follow‑up of payment applications according to contractual milestones.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in project planning and scheduling, preferably in airport, aviation or large‑scale infrastructure projects.
• Strong analytical, organizational and detail‑oriented skills.
• Excellent written and spoken English; Arabic is a plus.
• Experience working in the Middle East is advantageous.
