Protein Sales Specialist

About the role

The Protein Sales Specialist will drive growth of Bidfood Middle East’s protein portfolio, focusing on beef and other meat products. You will work closely with sales, marketing, quality and operations teams to ensure product profitability, regulatory compliance, and strong customer relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in executing strategic plans for the protein category.
• Deliver comprehensive training sessions on beef products to the sales team.
• Maintain efficient stock control systems and optimal inventory levels.
• Analyse market insights to identify trends and growth opportunities.
• Provide market support to the sales team to achieve targets.
• Monitor category performance and recommend enhancements to increase market share.
• Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, ensuring high‑quality, competitive products.
• Source new protein products based on customer needs and market trends.
• Ensure all protein products meet regulatory and company standards.
• Collaborate with quality and operations teams to resolve product issues.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Business, Supply Chain or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in protein category management or food‑service procurement.
• Proven expertise in beef products and the meat industry.
• Experience delivering training and presentations to sales teams.
• Strong stock‑management experience and a proactive approach to inventory challenges.
• Ability to analyse market data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
