About the role

GEMS Wellington Academy in Al Khail is seeking an outstanding Psychology Teacher to join its high‑performing team from August 2026. The role involves delivering the British curriculum to GCSE and A‑Level students while contributing to the school’s evidence‑informed learning environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Psychology lessons for KS3, KS4 and KS5 following the British curriculum.
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Collaborate with colleagues in a high‑performing teaching team to share best practices.
• Apply evidence‑informed teaching methods and contribute to the school’s cognitive science network.

Required profile

• Hold a B.Ed, PGCE, PGDE or equivalent qualification for secondary teaching.
• Minimum two years of experience teaching the National Curriculum of England.
• Proven experience teaching Psychology at GCSE and A‑Level (KS3/4/5).
• Exceptional subject knowledge and a track record of outstanding teaching.

Required skills
