Pub Manager – Irish Pub at Luxury Hotel

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Pub Manager to lead P J O'Reilly's, an authentic Irish pub located within Le Royal Meridien Abu Dhabi. The role combines operational oversight, guest experience excellence, and revenue growth in a luxury hotel environment.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily pub operations, coordinating bar, floor and kitchen teams to ensure timely, high‑quality service.
• Manage inventory, stock rotation and ordering of beverages and supplies using inventory management software.
• Drive revenue and profitability through cost control, upselling, and analysis of sales reports.
• Develop and promote themed nights, live entertainment and special events to increase footfall.
• Ensure exceptional guest experience, handling feedback and maintaining Irish hospitality standards.
• Recruit, train, schedule and motivate staff, conducting briefings and monitoring performance.
• Maintain compliance with health, safety, hygiene regulations and licensing laws.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Hospitality Management or related field (preferred).
• 3–5 years of experience managing an Irish pub or luxury bar, preferably within a hotel.
• Strong knowledge of beers, whiskeys, cocktails and Irish pub culture.
• Proven leadership, communication and guest‑relations abilities.
