Public Area Attendant (Hotel & Resort)

About the role

The Public Area Attendant joins the Public Area team of Wynn Al Marjan Island, a future integrated resort in the UAE, to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and appearance across all guest‑facing and back‑of‑house areas.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the Public Area department, ensuring Wynn cleanliness standards are met in restrooms, pantry, offices, exterior zones and back‑of‑house spaces.
• Dust, wipe and disinfect surfaces such as desks, tables, office equipment and windowsills to reduce allergens and keep areas tidy.
• Clean and restock restrooms, replenish consumables and report any maintenance issues or inventory shortages.
• Maintain and store cleaning tools and equipment properly after each use.
• Monitor and report leaks, spills or damages to facilities management and follow up on repairs.
• Maintain accurate inventory of cleaning chemicals and supplies, notifying supervisors when re‑ordering is required.

Required profile

• Secondary school education or higher.
• Minimum three years of housekeeping or public‑area experience, preferably in commercial or office environments.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as standing, bending, lifting up to 15 kg and repetitive motions for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail, good time‑management skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Excellent multicultural communication and interpersonal skills.
