About the role
The Public Area Attendant ensures the public areas of One&Only One Za'abeel are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene, supporting the resort’s commitment to exceptional guest experiences.
Key responsibilities
- Clean, replenish supplies, and maintain all assigned public areas, reporting any defects immediately.
- Assist with preventative maintenance, inventory of chemicals, supplies, and equipment, and ensure all equipment is in good working condition.
- Follow Lost and Found procedures, uphold safe work practices, and support training of new colleagues.
- Participate in team events, trainings, and maintain professional grooming and hygiene standards.
Required profile
- Minimum Grade 12 or A‑Level education; hospitality graduate is a plus.
- At least 2 years of experience as a Public Area Attendant in a five‑star hotel.
- Fluent spoken and written English; additional languages are advantageous.
Required skills
- Ability to operate and maintain cleaning equipment safely.
- Strong attention to detail for maintaining high cleanliness standards.
