Public Area Attendant – Luxury Hotel

About the role

The Public Area Attendant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, appearance, and overall upkeep of all public areas of the hotel, ensuring every guest encounters a spotless and welcoming environment.

Key responsibilities

• Clean, dust and sanitize all areas of the guest room (bedroom, living room, dining room and bathroom) according to procedure.
• Perform room attendant duties in occupied rooms and check‑out rooms.
• Provide turndown service for guests.
• Identify opportunities to personalize the service experience for each guest.
• Carry out other tasks or projects assigned by the Assistant Housekeeping Manager, Housekeeping Manager or Director of Housekeeping.

Required profile

• Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role within a luxury brand.
• Strong organisational skills and keen attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills.
• Outgoing personality with a can‑do approach.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication abilities.
