Public Relations Manager

About the role

The Public Relations Manager will lead the in‑house agency of a fast‑growing Abu Dhabi conglomerate. This hands‑on role is responsible for shaping the company’s external profile, securing media coverage and positioning its leadership and portfolio across the UAE and the wider region.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute proactive PR strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Build and maintain relationships with local, regional and international media.
• Identify media opportunities, news angles, interviews and thought‑leadership placements.
• Draft press releases, media announcements, briefing documents, talking points and Q&As.
• Manage day‑to‑day media enquiries and coordinate responses with internal stakeholders.
• Partner with senior leadership to enhance executive visibility and positioning.
• Lead PR activity around major announcements, launches, partnerships and events.
• Coordinate media attendance, interviews and press activities for key activations.
• Collaborate with internal marketing, social and content teams to amplify PR efforts.
• Monitor media coverage, sentiment and share of voice, providing regular reporting and recommendations.
• Support reputation and issues management, including reactive communications.

• Strong stakeholder management skills, able to work closely with senior leaders.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives.
