Public Relations Officer

About the role

The Public Relations Officer will act as the primary liaison between Adecco and UAE government authorities, managing all immigration, labor and licensing processes to ensure full regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as main contact with ministries such as MOHRE, GDRFA, ICP, free‑zone authorities and municipalities.
• Process employment visas, work permits, residency permits, renewals, cancellations and dependent visas.
• Submit and manage labor contracts, work permits, and handle labor complaints or inspections.
• Oversee trade‑license renewals, corporate registrations, and coordinate notarisation, attestation and translation of official documents.
• Maintain relationships with government bodies and external service providers, and advise internal teams on procedural requirements.
• Keep accurate records of all submissions, approvals and renewals and produce regular compliance reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Business Administration, Human Resources, Public Administration or related field.
• Minimum 8 + years experience as a Public Relations Officer (PRO) in the UAE.
• Strong knowledge of UAE labour law, immigration procedures and government regulations.
• Valid UAE driving licence preferred.
• Fluency in English; Arabic highly desirable.
