Public Relations & Social Media Assistant Manager

About the role

Join Anantara The Palm Dubai Resort as a Public Relations and Social Media Assistant Manager, supporting the development and execution of the resort’s PR and digital communication strategies. You will work closely with the marketing team to enhance brand visibility and guest engagement across multiple channels.

Key responsibilities

• Support the creation and implementation of the annual public relations strategy and communications calendar.
• Build and maintain relationships with local, regional and international media, journalists and industry contacts.
• Draft, coordinate and distribute press releases, media alerts, fact sheets and talking points in line with brand standards.
• Organise media stays, interviews, press visits and hosted experiences, from invitation to post‑visit follow‑up.
• Monitor media coverage and identify opportunities to raise awareness of the resort’s offerings and sustainability initiatives.
• Develop and execute social media strategies on Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn and other platforms.
• Manage the daily social media calendar, create and publish engaging copy while maintaining brand voice.
• Oversee community management, responding to comments and messages and escalating guest concerns when needed.
• Plan and coordinate photo and video shoots, and manage influencer and brand partnership collaborations.
• Collaborate with internal departments to develop communication plans for offers, launches and key events.
• Track PR, social media and influencer performance, prepare reports and provide actionable recommendations.
• Assist the Cluster Director of Marketing & Communications with budgeting, presentations and administrative tasks.
