Purchaser / Car Buyer – Dubai

About the role

As a Purchaser you will price vehicles for representation on the dubizzle Cars platform, generate new listings and increase inventory while meeting sales targets. The role involves negotiating with customers, purchasing cars for retail and managing the pricing process to maximise margins.

Key responsibilities

• Price a wide range of vehicles accurately, reflecting mileage, colour, warranty, specifications and condition.
• Negotiate with customers to achieve efficient sales with maximum margin.
• Purchase cars for retail within defined criteria and maintain a healthy stock level.
• Achieve monthly targets and margins across retail, managed and auction channels.
• Enter customer and vehicle data using Salesforce CRM to keep databases up‑to‑date.
• Build and maintain customer relationships to generate future business.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
• Valid UAE driver’s licence.
• Minimum two years of automotive experience, preferably in used‑car purchasing or sales.
• In‑depth knowledge of the GCC used‑car market and a wide range of makes and models.
• Strong negotiation, leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask, prioritise and manage time effectively.
