Purchaser (Car Buyer)

About the role

The Purchaser will price vehicles for representation on the dubizzle Cars platform, generate new listings, and help meet sales targets. This role involves negotiating with customers, managing inventory, and ensuring a smooth customer experience from meet‑and‑greet to handover.

Key responsibilities

• Price a wide range of vehicles within dubizzle’s guidelines and adjust prices based on mileage, colour, warranty, specifications, and condition.
• Negotiate with customers to achieve efficient sales with maximum margin.
• Purchase cars for retail and managed service, maintaining a healthy margin of at least 10%.
• Maintain average days‑in‑stock of around 30 and achieve monthly retail, managed, and auction targets.
• Perform outbound on‑call consultations to generate new branch sign‑ups.
• Enter customer and vehicle data accurately using Salesforce CRM.
• Build and maintain customer relationships to generate future business.
• Oversee the representation process to enhance overall customer experience.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
• Valid UAE driver’s licence.
• Minimum of 2 years automotive experience, specifically in used‑car purchases or sales.
• In‑depth knowledge of the GCC used‑car market and a wide range of makes and models.
• Strong negotiation, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.
• Professional attitude, presentable appearance, and a team‑player mindset.
