QA Automation Engineer (Web & API Automation)

About the role

From designing intelligent test frameworks to driving AI‑powered automation pipelines, you'll have the freedom to shape how we deliver reliable, secure, and high‑performance digital banking experiences for our customers. We are seeking a hands‑on QA Automation Engineer with deep expertise in Playwright (TypeScript/JavaScript) and API automation using tools such as Rest Assured, Playwright, or Pytest, and strong programming skills in JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, or Python.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop automation frameworks from scratch using Playwright, Rest Assured, or Pytest.
• Build comprehensive API automation suites (REST/GraphQL) with schema validation and reusable components.
• Implement AI‑driven testing features like self‑healing locators and predictive defect analytics.
• Conduct performance testing with K6, Gatling, or JMeter and recommend optimisations.
• Integrate automation suites into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure DevOps) and run tests on cloud farms such as BrowserStack or LambdaTest.
• Collaborate with Product, Development, DevOps, SRE and Business teams to define test strategies, quality gates and acceptance criteria.

Required profile

• Minimum 5+ years of QA Automation experience with a focus on Web and API testing.
• Proven experience designing and delivering automation frameworks from the ground up.
