QA Automation Engineer – Web

About the role

We are seeking an experienced QA Automation Engineer – Web to support the delivery of high‑quality, secure, and scalable digital solutions within a modern technology‑driven environment. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining robust test automation frameworks while ensuring comprehensive quality assurance practices across the software development lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable web automation frameworks using Playwright and TypeScript.
• Create and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and automated test scripts.
• Build and maintain API automation solutions for functional, integration, and regression testing.
• Integrate automation suites into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing and faster release cycles.
• Identify, document, prioritize, and track defects throughout the defect lifecycle.
• Generate test execution reports, dashboards, and quality metrics for stakeholder visibility.

Required profile

• 5‑8 years of experience in Quality Assurance with a strong focus on web automation testing.
• Proven expertise in QA Automation, Web Application Testing, API Testing, Test Framework Development, and Defect Management.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Playwright, TypeScript, and JavaScript, including building automation frameworks from scratch.
• Solid understanding of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and test planning, test case design, and defect lifecycle management.
• Experience with REST API testing and automation using tools such as Postman and Rest Assured.
