About the role
Larsen & Toubro is seeking a QAQC Civil Engineer to join its Sharjah team. The role focuses on developing and executing project quality plans, ensuring compliance with client requirements, and overseeing QA/QC processes across civil engineering works.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and implement the Project Quality Plan and associated QA/QC procedures.
- Review Method Statements and develop Inspection & Test Plans (ITP) and related checklists.
- Allocate QA/QC activities to team members and coordinate with site personnel.
- Orient and train staff, subcontractors, and workmen on quality standards.
- Monitor and maintain testing and measuring equipment, including calibration records.
- Identify and approve testing laboratories and oversee material inspections per ITP.
- Coordinate Requests for Inspection (RFIs) and manage client inspections to obtain clearances.
- Obtain necessary permits and ensure compliance with project specifications.
