QA/QC Engineer (Electrical) - High-Rise MEP Projects

About the role

A leading MEP contractor in Dubai is looking for a QA/QC MEP Electrical Engineer with a strong track record in high-rise building projects. The role reports to the QA/QC Manager or Electrical Project Lead and covers inspection, documentation and verification of electrical installations and works, ensuring compliance with project specifications, quality procedures and authority approvals. It is a full-time, on-site position in Dubai.

Key responsibilities

• Perform QA/QC inspections of lighting, power distribution, switchgear, panels, earthing and LV systems.
• Ensure compliance with DEWA standards, project drawings, BOQs and material specifications.
• Generate and maintain Inspection Requests (IRs), Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and quality records.
• Coordinate with consultants, main contractors and internal teams for snag closure and final handover.
• Witness and document testing and commissioning of electrical systems (IR testing, insulation resistance, continuity).
• Take part in authority inspections (DCD, DM, DEWA) and track QA/QC documentation for handover files and O&M manuals.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (required).
• 3 to 4 years of experience in electrical QA/QC roles within UAE high-rise projects.
• Track record of completing at least 2 full-cycle electrical projects.
• Currently based in the UAE with a stable employment background.
• Ability to join immediately and provide salary documentation or SOA before the final round.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of UAE authority standards (DEWA, DCD) and regulatory compliance.
• Hands-on experience in testing, commissioning and reporting for electrical systems.
• Solid understanding of NOC processes, power approvals and DEWA coordination.
