QA/QC Engineer

About the role

The QA/QC Engineer will ensure that all construction activities adhere to approved drawings, specifications, method statements, inspection‑test plans (ITPs) and local authority requirements. You will act as the quality gatekeeper on site, coordinating with consultants, subcontractors and the planning team to deliver a compliant project.

Key responsibilities

• Review IFC/shop drawings, method statements and material approvals before work commences.
• Inspect civil, structural, architectural and MEP works for compliance with quality standards.
• Monitor concrete works, reinforcement, formwork, waterproofing and finishing activities.
• Prepare and coordinate Inspection Requests (IRs) with consultants/clients.
• Verify that delivered materials match approved submittals and certificates.
• Maintain quality records, test reports, MIR/IR logs and daily reports.
• Raise and close NCRs for non‑conforming works.
• Support testing, commissioning, snagging and project hand‑over documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience in construction QA/QC.
• Knowledge of ITPs, inspections and quality standards.
• Familiarity with Dubai construction regulations (Dubai Municipality, Civil Defence, DEWA, etc.).
• Strong communication and documentation abilities.
