QA/QC Engineer – Overhead Transmission Lines & Substations

About the role

We are seeking a qualified QA/QC Engineer to support high‑voltage transmission line and substation projects across the Gulf region. The successful candidate will apply international quality standards to ensure compliance with project specifications and client requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and monitor QA/QC systems, procedures, and project‑specific quality plans.
• Conduct inspections for foundations, tower erection, stringing, and substation works.
• Review and approve material testing reports to ensure technical compliance.
• Coordinate QA/QC matters with clients, consultants, and contractors.
• Prepare and maintain QA/QC documentation such as ITPs, checklists, NCRs, method statements, and quality reports.
• Lead internal audits and maintain accurate records of all QA/QC activities.
• Identify, report, and resolve non‑conformances in collaboration with project teams.
• Support construction teams in upholding quality and HSE standards on‑site.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Electrical Engineering from a regular college.
• 5–10 years of proven QA/QC experience on 220 kV, 400 kV or 765 kV OHTL and substation projects.
• ISO 9001:2015 internal auditor certification (preferred).
• Valid passport with at least nine months validity for Gulf travel.
• Strong written and spoken English communication skills.
