QA/QC Manager – Civil

About the role

ASGC is seeking an experienced QA/QC Manager – Civil to lead the quality function for high‑rise and major building projects across the UAE. The role involves overseeing all quality activities from project mobilisation through to completion and handover.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain the Project Quality Plan (PQP) in line with contractual requirements, specifications and ISO standards.
• Lead the QA/QC team, including engineers and inspectors, ensuring compliance with drawings, method statements, ITPs and applicable codes.
• Manage quality control for earthworks, piling, foundations, reinforced concrete, structural works, waterproofing, blockwork, plastering, façade, external works and related civil activities.
• Review and monitor method statements, inspection & test plans, material submittals, MIRs, WIRs and test reports.
• Control incoming material inspection, testing and documentation.
• Handle Non‑Conformance Reports, corrective and preventive actions, root‑cause analysis and timely closure.
• Conduct site inspections, internal audits and quality assessments.
• Monitor subcontractor and supplier performance and ensure alignment with project requirements.
• Coordinate with project management, engineering, procurement, HSE, MEP, consultants and clients.
• Establish quality KPIs, prepare regular quality reports and oversee mock‑ups, benchmark samples and first‑work inspections.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in high‑rise and major building projects.
• Background working for reputable main contractors.
• Proven ability to manage the full quality function from mobilisation to handover.
• Strong leadership and coordination skills across multidisciplinary teams.
