QC Civil Inspector

About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled QC Civil Inspector to join our EPC project team within the oil and gas industry. The successful candidate will ensure all civil works are executed in compliance with project specifications, international standards, and quality requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct inspections of civil works including earthworks, foundations, concrete structures, and underground services.
• Ensure construction activities align with approved drawings, ITPs, and method statements.
• Review and verify material approvals, test reports, and inspection records.
• Witness site tests such as concrete, compaction, and soil testing and maintain documentation.
• Raise Non‑Conformance Reports (NCRs) and monitor corrective actions.
• Coordinate with project engineers, contractors, and third‑party inspectors.
• Maintain compliance with international codes and standards (e.g., ASTM, BS, ACI).
• Support audits and client inspections by maintaining quality records.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 + years experience in QC inspection within EPC oil & gas projects.
• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• Relevant certifications such as CSWIP or ISO 9001 are an advantage.

Required skills

• Knowledge of international standards (ASTM, BS, ACI).
• Experience with concrete, compaction, and soil testing procedures.
• Ability to raise and manage Non‑Conformance Reports (NCRs).
