QC Inspector - Fit-out & Joinery Factory

About the role

Juma Al Majid Holding Group L.L.C. is hiring a full-time QC Inspector for a fit-out and joinery factory in Dubai. The inspector checks raw materials, in-process manufacturing and finished goods against specifications, drawings and customer requirements, and ensures compliance with quality plans and company procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect incoming raw materials and purchased components, and perform in-process inspections during manufacturing.
• Inspect finished products before dispatch and conduct final inspections before packaging and delivery.
• Verify dimensions, workmanship, finishes and assembly quality using measuring tools and inspection equipment.
• Identify, record and report non-conforming materials or products, and follow up on corrective actions.
• Prepare inspection reports, quality records and non-conformance reports (NCRs).
• Ensure compliance with approved quality plans, inspection and test plans (ITPs) and company procedures.
• Coordinate with production, engineering and warehouse teams to resolve quality issues and monitor processes to recommend improvements.
• Maintain calibration and maintenance of inspection tools, take part in internal and external quality audits, and keep accurate quality documentation.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Civil Engineering, Manufacturing or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a QC Inspector in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Experience in joinery, furniture manufacturing, metal fabrication, interior fit-out or construction materials is preferred.

Required skills

• Knowledge of inspection and testing procedures.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems.
