Quality Assurance Lead

About the role

Wellpharma Medical Solutions LLC is seeking a Quality Assurance Lead to oversee QA operations at its pharmaceutical manufacturing facility in ICAD 1, Abu Dhabi. The role ensures compliance with GMP, GDP and local regulatory standards while driving continuous improvement across the plant.

Key responsibilities

• Direct daily QA activities to align with GMP, GDP and regulatory requirements.
• Manage quality workflows including CAPA, deviations, change controls and complaint investigations.
• Author, review and approve SOPs, batch records, validation protocols and other technical documentation.
• Lead internal, client and health‑authority audits and ensure timely closure of findings.
• Collaborate with Production, QC, Engineering and Warehouse teams to maintain product quality.
• Implement quality risk‑management frameworks and drive operational excellence.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Life Sciences or a related scientific field.
• Minimum 5 years progressive QA experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing.
• Strong leadership, audit management and cross‑functional coordination skills.
