Quality Checker – Garment Manufacturing

About the role

We are seeking a Quality Checker to ensure garment quality at our factory in Saif Zone, Sharjah. The role involves conducting inspections, reporting defects, and collaborating with production and QA teams.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct in‑line and final inspections of garments based on AQL standards.
• Check measurements, stitching, trims, labels, and overall finishing.
• Identify and classify defects such as open seams, puckering, loose threads, stains, and size issues.
• Compare finished garments against buyer‑approved samples and tech packs.
• Maintain detailed inspection reports and defect logs.
• Coordinate with production and QA teams to address quality issues promptly.
• Assist in root‑cause analysis and follow up on rework and corrective actions.
• Ensure garments are properly ironed, folded, tagged, and packed per buyer requirements.

Required profile

• Diploma or equivalent qualification.
• Ability to read and write.
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience as a Quality Checker in a garment manufacturing environment.

Required skills

• Use of measurement tools (measuring tape, GSM cutter, etc.).
• Understanding of AQL levels and inspection processes.
• Familiarity with garment construction and different garment types (woven, knit, casualwear, uniforms).
