Quality Control (QC) Inspector – UAE National

About the role

We are looking for a UAE National Quality Control (QC) Inspector to join our shipyard team in Abu Dhabi. You will be responsible for maintaining high quality standards across all yacht and aluminum boat production activities, ensuring compliance with internal and external requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Manage all QC activities related to shipyard operations and ensure adherence to established standards.
• Monitor workmanship quality throughout every project stage.
• Prepare and maintain inspection reports, records, checklists, and related documentation.
• Coordinate and support audits by certification bodies, classification societies, and external auditors.
• Work closely with government authorities, surveyors, and third‑party inspectors during official inspections.
• Identify non‑conformities, issue corrective action reports, track progress and ensure closure.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of shipyard processes, procedures and quality standards.

Required profile

• UAE National (mandatory).
• Strong knowledge of QC procedures and inspection practices in a shipyard environment.
• Proven experience dealing with certification bodies, government authorities and external auditors.
• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Marine, Naval Architecture or related engineering fields is an advantage.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems; Internal Auditor certification is a plus.
