Quality Controller - Water Generators

About the role

A full-time Quality Controller is needed in Dubai to monitor and evaluate products and production processes, carrying out rigorous testing and inspections to meet specified standards and regulations. The role covers the production and assembly of water generators (Genny and others), ensuring consistent quality and compliance with standards and legal requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect shipments of inventory and raw goods, and measure the specifications of random items in each production run
• Check that assembly lines follow standards and procedures and comply with legal requirements
• Review blueprints and specifications against produced goods, and inspect output samples by comparing them to standards, measuring dimensions and checking functionality
• Record inspection results in reports, summarize re-works and waste, and enter data into the quality database
• Train the assembly and production team on quality control measures and propose process improvements
• Monitor equipment safety, keep measurement tools calibrated and accurate, and verify that all equipment is tested correctly
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, use gauges such as calipers, micrometers and ohmmeters, and collect statistical quality data and traceability records
• Assist in developing test methods and inspection plans, and determine the causes of defects and reworks
• Report non-conformances during receipt of raw goods, assembly and finished products, carry out root cause analysis and recommend corrective and preventive actions
• Handle customer complaints, coordinate with stakeholders, and attend regular coordination meetings with the Production Assembly Team
• Observe and implement health and safety standards across all processes

Required profile

• Miniature engineering diploma in MEP maintenance (HVAC or PLC preferred)
• Quality control training (food safety, ISO 9001)
• At least 2 years of experience in a similar field
