Quality Engineer I – Abu Dhabi

About the role

The Quality Engineer I will ensure that products, processes and services meet defined quality standards, customer requirements and regulatory obligations. The role supports continuous improvement initiatives, analyses quality performance data, and works closely with cross‑functional teams to drive quality excellence throughout the product lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor compliance with internal quality management systems, policies, procedures and external regulations; participate in audits.
• Develop and implement quality control plans, inspection processes and metrics; review test results for conformity.
• Investigate non‑conformities, perform root‑cause analysis using tools such as 5 Whys, Fishbone Diagram and Pareto Analysis, and lead corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Identify and drive process improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen and other methodologies.
• Collect, analyse and report quality data, create dashboards and monitor KPIs such as defect rates and customer complaints.
• Support customer quality concerns, supplier qualification and performance evaluation, and ensure corrective actions are effective.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• 3–5 years of experience in Quality Engineering, Quality Assurance or Quality Control within a structured QMS.
• Professional certifications such as Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), Six Sigma Green/Black Belt, ISO 9001 Internal or Lead Auditor are desirable.
• Strong understanding of Quality Management Systems, quality tools and methodologies, and experience conducting audits and root‑cause analysis.
