Quality Engineer (UAE Nationals)

About the role

We are seeking motivated and detail‑oriented UAE National Quality Engineers to join our team. This opportunity is open to fresh graduates and experienced professionals with up to 10 years of experience in the Oil & Gas sector. The position is based in Sharjah, UAE and supports the organization’s Emiratization objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Support and implement QA/QC activities across engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning phases.
• Review quality records, inspection reports, ITPs, method statements and vendor documentation for compliance.
• Participate in internal and external audits, site inspections and quality surveillance, and monitor project quality KPIs.
• Investigate non‑conformances, lead root‑cause analysis and drive corrective and preventive actions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline; fresh graduates may have internship or project experience in Oil & Gas.
• Understanding of Quality Assurance/Quality Control processes and familiarity with ISO 9001, API, ASME and ASTM standards.
• UAE National holding a valid UAE Family Book.

Required skills

• Knowledge of ISO 9001, API Standards, ASME Codes and ASTM Standards.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and document management systems.
• Experience reviewing Inspection & Test Plans, quality procedures and welding documentation.
