Quality & Hygiene Officer

About the role

The Quality & Hygiene Officer ensures that the hotel meets the highest standards of quality, food safety and sustainability. Reporting to the Quality & Sustainability Manager, you will oversee compliance with both internal standards and local regulations across all hotel operations.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct and report quality and food‑safety controls for the hotel.
• Implement, monitor and report compliance with Accor’s quality management standards and certifications (ISO 9001, ISO 10002, ISO 14001, ISO 22000, TS EN 15288‑2, GSTC, IBCCES, CAC).
• Attend and support internal cross‑audits for Rixos Hotels UAE.
• Perform supplier audits and document findings.
• Carry out laboratory sampling, analyse results and report them.
• Organise and record training sessions on quality management, food safety and sustainability.
• Execute additional tasks assigned by the Quality & Sustainability department.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Food Engineering, Food Technology, Biotechnology, Microbiology or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a 4‑ or 5‑star hotel in the UAE.
