Quality Management And EHS Specialist

About the role

As a Quality Management & EHS Specialist you will support both quality and environment, health & safety activities across CAE's Defence & Security operations in the Middle East. You will work across multiple sites in the UAE and Qatar, ensuring compliance, driving continuous improvement and fostering a culture of safety and quality.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain, implement and improve the Quality Management System in line with ISO 9001 and corporate requirements.
• Support the implementation and continuous improvement of EHS programs aligned with ISO 45001 and CAE standards.
• Plan, conduct and support internal, external certification, customer and surveillance audits.
• Ensure compliance with quality, health, safety, environmental, regulatory and contractual requirements.
• Identify, investigate and resolve quality issues, non‑conformities, incidents and corrective actions.
• Conduct risk assessments and contribute to risk mitigation strategies.
• Support process development, improvement and documentation activities.
• Develop and monitor QHSE performance metrics, KPIs and reporting.
• Assist with emergency preparedness, incident management and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Provide guidance to operational teams on Quality and EHS requirements and promote a culture of compliance.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in a technical, engineering, quality, safety or related discipline.

Required skills

• Knowledge of ISO 9001 quality management standards.
• Knowledge of ISO 45001 occupational health & safety standards.
• Experience with audit planning and execution.
• Risk assessment and mitigation expertise.
• Ability to develop and track QHSE performance metrics.
• Strong documentation and process‑improvement skills.
