Quality & Reliability Manager

About the role

We are seeking a senior Quality & Reliability Manager to lead the reliability and quality programmes for KBR’s Asset Performance Solutions (APS) projects in Dubai. The role combines technical assurance, audit leadership and business development to drive operational excellence across the energy sector.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the reliability strategy for APS projects, establishing KPIs, defect density metrics and failure‑mode controls.
• Own and continuously improve the Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure ISO 9001 compliance and alignment with client contracts.
• Lead internal and external audits, quality walks, root‑cause‑analysis workshops and performance reviews.
• Collaborate with Operations, HSE, Engineering and Project Management teams to embed quality and reliability from planning through hand‑over.
• Support business development in the MENA region by shaping sales strategies for long‑term maintenance, predictive maintenance and digital asset solutions.

Required profile

• Undergraduate engineering degree.
• 15+ years total experience, including 10+ years in energy‑industry O&M and 5+ years in O&M digital solutions.
• Proven experience with upstream, refining, petrochemical or energy‑transition projects in the Middle East or Africa.
• Willingness to travel up to 30% of the time.

Required skills

• Reliability engineering and reliability‑centered maintenance.
• Quality management, ISO 9001 implementation and audit management.
• KPI development, defect density and equipment performance analysis.
• Root‑cause analysis (RCA) and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Digital asset management tools such as APM, remote performance monitoring, real‑time optimisation, AI process analytics and AI predictive maintenance.
• O&M solution design and implementation, including predictive maintenance and condition monitoring.
