Quantitative Research Internship (2027)

About the role

Qube Research & Technologies offers a 4–6 month Quantitative Research Internship starting in 2027. Interns join a systematic investment team, working on real research or trading problems and gaining exposure to the full pipeline from data exploration to live strategy deployment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop predictive signals from large, diverse datasets.
• Explore data, formulate hypotheses, design and run tests, and iterate on findings.
• Collaborate with researchers to distinguish promising signals from noise.
• Assist in deploying research on the systematic trading platform.
• Monitor signal performance in production, improve execution efficiency, and help manage risks.

Required profile

• Penultimate‑year or final‑year student pursuing a bachelor’s, master’s or PhD.
• Strong interest in quantitative research, data analysis, and systematic trading.
• Ability to work rigorously, question assumptions, and communicate findings.
