Quantitative Researcher – HFT Strategies for Saudi Markets

About the role

Fionics is expanding its market‑making operations into the emerging Saudi equity markets. As a Quantitative Researcher you will design and implement high‑frequency trading (HFT) strategies that shape market structure in a region with limited competition.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and back‑test HFT strategies tailored to Saudi equity instruments.
• Collaborate with engineers to integrate algorithms into cutting‑edge trading infrastructure.
• Monitor live performance, optimise latency, and adjust models in real time.
• Contribute to the firm’s market‑making framework and help define pricing models.

Required profile

• Proven HFT or market‑making experience at a tier‑1 quantitative firm.
• Ability to relocate to the Middle East and start within six months.
• Willingness to work in a fast‑paced, low‑bureaucracy environment.
• Non‑compete restriction of less than six months.
