Quantity Surveyor – Infrastructure Projects

About the role

AECOM is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join its commercial team on a major infrastructure project in Dubai. You will be responsible for delivering accurate cost estimates, managing contracts and supporting the overall delivery of roads and other infrastructure works.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct field surveys using electronic distance‑measuring equipment and other surveying instruments.
• Operate and maintain land‑information computer systems, store data, generate plots and produce detailed reports.
• Review measurement data from survey teams, verify accuracy and prepare maps, plots and elevation reports.
• Research legal records to confirm boundary lines and incorporate findings into project documentation.
• Lead the commercial team, applying cost and contract management techniques, budget control and change‑order processes.
• Present findings confidently to stakeholders while safeguarding confidential project data.

Required profile

• QS or Engineering degree (or equivalent).
• Minimum 7 years of quantity surveying experience on infrastructure and road projects.
• Strong knowledge of industry best practices, cost and contract management, budget management and change control.
• High level of English literacy; Arabic speaking is a plus.
• Ability to act with discretion and maintain confidentiality.
