Quantity Surveyor – Infrastructure Projects

About the role

Solid Core Contracting L.L.C. is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join its infrastructure team in Dubai. The role focuses on cost management, quantity surveying, contract administration and final accounts for major civil infrastructure projects.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare quantity take‑offs, Bills of Quantities and cost estimates for sewerage, drainage, water and pipeline works.
• Monitor project costs and budgets throughout the lifecycle and support cost‑control measures.
• Measure completed works, prepare progress‑payment applications and manage variations.
• Handle claims, contract administration and final account preparation.
• Coordinate with project teams, review drawings and specifications, and maintain accurate commercial records.

Required profile

• Minimum 3–5 years of UAE infrastructure‑construction experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Experience with sewerage, drainage, gravity networks, water lines, irrigation and pipeline projects.
• Strong analytical, negotiation and communication abilities.

Required skills

• Quantity take‑offs and BOQ preparation.
• Cost estimation and cost control.
• Knowledge of FIDIC contracts and UAE construction practices.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and QS software.
• Contract administration, claims handling and final account preparation.
