Quantity Surveyor

About the role

As a Quantity Surveyor at Otis, you will manage the contractual and financial aspects of elevator installation and maintenance projects, ensuring they are delivered within budget and to the highest standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates and analyze tender documents for elevator projects.
• Monitor project budgets, control costs, and identify financial risks.
• Manage contracts with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors, handling variations and amendments.
• Negotiate bids and procure materials and services, ensuring value for money.
• Conduct site visits to verify progress and compliance with standards.
• Prepare progress reports and collaborate with project managers to identify cost‑saving opportunities.
• Develop risk management plans and resolve contractual or financial disputes.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in quantity surveying, construction management, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of proven experience in quantity surveying or a similar role.
• Strong understanding of construction methods and materials.
• Excellent negotiation and communication abilities.
• Detail‑oriented with strong analytical skills.
