Quantity Surveyor – Mechanical

About the role

Archirodon is looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor – Mechanical to support its EPC projects in Abu Dhabi, focusing on mechanical and piping works for oil and gas facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Review project design documents, identify discrepancies and prepare registers for tie‑in materials.
• Provide technical inputs for quantity and material take‑offs and support variation order submissions.
• Prepare method statements, material approval requests and respond to technical queries from construction, procurement and vendors.
• Assist the spooling team by reviewing weld maps and managing revisions of isometric drawings.
• Analyse material take‑offs against orders, prepare progress reports and generate bills of quantities, RFQs and purchase requests.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 8 years of quantity surveying experience on oil & gas EPC projects.
• Strong knowledge of piping materials, isometric drawings, P&IDs, painting and insulation specifications.

Required skills

• AutoCAD and Navisworks.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office suite.
• Interpretation of isometric drawings and P&IDs.
